'Sharathulu Varthisthai', starring Chaitanya Rao Madadi and Bhoomi Shetty as a husband-wife duo, is heading to OTT. The Kumara Swamy directorial will debut on Aha Video on May 18.
Also starring Nanda Kishore, Santosh Yadav, and Devaraj Palamuru, the film has music by Arun Chiluveru and Suresh Bobbili. Produced by Sreelatha-Nagarjun Samala, Sharadha-Sreesh Kumar Gunda, and Vijaya-Dr. Krishnakanth Chittajallu, the film is a negative for Chaitanya's career.
While the film was a theatrical disaster because of its slow-paced narration, it could work for a section of the audience on OTT. Aha Video has been coming to the rescue of small-budgeted movies that target the family audience.
Chaitanya Rao's career has been on the downswing lately. He was recently seen in 'Parijatha Parvam', which too was a flop like 'Sharathulu Varthisthai'. Last year, he was seen in 'Annapurna Photo Studio' and Tharun Bhascker-directed 'Keedaa Colaa'. Both films flopped at the box-office.
