Teaser time: 'Kannappa' to make a debut at Cannes Film Festival

It is time for a promotional bout titled 'The World Of Kannappa' at the Cannes. Come May 20, the Manchu Vishnu-starrer will make its presence felt at the prestigious film festival. The pan-Indian movie's grand Teaser will be launched on the occasion.

"A cinematic odyssey that promises to redefine storytelling," the makers said today, making the announcement. "Can’t wait to show you all The World Of #𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚 on the 20th May. Launching it in 'Cannes Film Festival'," Vishnu wrote on social media.

The multi-lingual release will be honoured at Cannes in the form of a red-carpet debut. Featuring an ensemble cast, the film is currently in the making. "Cannes serves as the ideal platform to showcase our production to a global audience. By bringing our rich Indian history to the global platform, we aim to enlighten audiences worldwide about the timeless tales and cultural heritage that our film encapsulates," the makers today said.

24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment are mounting 'Kannappa' on a lavish scale. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Thota Prasad, Thotapalli Sainath, and Burra Sai Madhav are its screenwriters. With music by Stephen Devassay, the film has cinematography by Sheldon Shau. It will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English.
