Swetha PVS has been a Radio Jockey at Mirchi, the prominent FM station. Coming with experience as a dialogue and screenplay writer, she is now making her debut as a filmmaker. Swetha has also been a voice coach and a dubbing artiste. An anchor and an entrepreneur as well, she is kicked about her film debut.
Yash Rangineni, the producer of 'Pelli Choopulu' fame, is going to bankroll her maiden venture. His banner, Big Ben Cinemas, has already introduced six filmmakers in the past. Swetha is the first female director to be introduced by the banner. Tharun Bhascker with 'Pelli Choopulu', Bharath Kamma with 'Dear Comrade', KV Mahendra with 'Dorasani', Praneeth B with 'Bhaag Saale', Sanjeev Reddy with 'ABCD' and Chendu Mudda with 'Annapoorna Photo Studio' are the ones who have been introduced to the Telugu film industry by Big Ben Cinemas.
The producer needs to score a box-office hit. He is now expected to make a strong comeback with Swetha's film. He has mostly bankrolled small-scale movies with the sole exception of 'Dear Comrade'.
