Ideally, the strategy is to leak certain crucial bits and generate a lot of expectation among the audience. However, the makers should have the wisdom to understand which leak works and which leak fails.
This is something the team of ‘Waltair Veerayya’ seems to have missed. Ever since the promotions of the film began, the team has leaked certain details about the film and more than raising the hype, it has only dampened the spirits of mega fans as well as cine buffs because they seem to be the most surprising twists in the movie.
By giving out leaks like the role of Ravi Teja, the interval bang and other scenes, the team has now killed the whole element of surprise and this would bring down the emotional peaks in the theatres as it is already expected. About time the mega camp gets to work and changes their strategy.
