The latest Bollywood release Cirkus, directed by Rohith Shetty starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandes has failed to impress audiences and make it work at the box office.
The fact that Ranveer Singh plays the role of two sets of identical twins separated accidentally at birth has attracted strong criticism that Bollywood has seriously fallen short of conceiving fresh ideas any more.
The film is being panned as nothing but a collection of worthless jokes, bad acting and a failed plot. Rohith Shetty has acquired a cult status in Bollywood with his style of badass films but clearly this movie hasn’t clicked even in one aspect. It’s high time that Bollywood weave its old magic of romantic blockbusters and heartful entertainers. The formulaic films are not working anymore.
