Dark day has struck the Telugu industry once again. Even before the Telugu people could recover from the loss of Superstar Krishna, yet another tragedy has struck. Legendary thespian and senior actor Kaikala Satyanarayana breathed his last today. He was 87. Sources reveal the veteran actor was ailing since a while.

Satyanarayana was not just a versatile actor but also a producer, director and even a politician. His domination as an antagonist spanned over few decades and later on, he also did some worthy character roles. His illustrious career and magnetic performances also earned him the title 'Navarasa Natanaa Sarvabhouma'.

It is believed that Satyanarayana holds the record of playing the maximum number of villain roles opposite yet another legend N T Rama Rao. Born in 1935, he made his debut in the film 'Sipayi Koothuru' and since then there was no turning back.

Satyanarayana is survived by four children and the final formalities are expected to take place tomorrow at Maha Prasthanam in Jubilee Hills. Telugu Cult conveys its deepest condolences to the family of the fallen star.
