The TSFA 2023 (Telugu State Film Awards) event was held at Madapur's T-Hub on Saturday evening in the presence of renowned astrologer Venu Swamy and Cinematography Association President PG Vinda (the cinematographer of films like 'Ami Thumi' and 'Sammohanam'). The official poster of TSFA-2024 was also unveiled on the occasion. The awards edition finds representation of young talents from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking on the occasion, Venu Swamy said that social media has become as significant as mainstream media in today's times. He added that youngsters are choosing the path of entertainment and comedy by using platforms like YouTube and Instagram to express themselves.
Srinivas Marri, Head of Kalaraj Media & Entertainment, said that he was glad to present the 6th edition of the awards. YouTube and Istagram influencers, who are popular with Netizens all over the world, have been selected for awards in various categories.
The importance of short films in terms of creative expression was underlined. Many short filmmakers have transitioned to feature-length films in recent times.
The speakers said that the Telugu State Film Awards - 2024 will also be organized soon.
