TDP affiliated media houses reported earlier that Yatra 2 director Mahi V Raghav is a Reddy and that is why he made Yatra, the biopic of YSR and later Yatra 2, the biopic of Jagan Mohan Reddy. It was reported that the director would be getting 2 acres land in Horsley Hills for his dedicated work for Jagan.
Now, the director has reacted to these rumors as he tweeted "Half truth isn’t truth it’s called a lie 😁 and for the Sherlock Holmes who found my real name as Mahendra Varanasi Reddi.. can you please tell me if I used this name ever before.. I have been making films for 2010 and did I know if I would be making Yatra back then ?? And what’s there to be ashamed for using my real name, I gave it up and took late father’s name as my surname.."
