It has been rumoured that Rashmika Mandanna has raised her remuneration to Rs 4-4.5 Cr after 'Animal'. The 'Geetha Govindam' actress today took to social media to refute the rumour in her style.
"After seeing all of this (referring to gossip columns about her fee), I think I should actually consider it. And if my producers ask why, I will just say ‘Media out there is saying this sir and I think I should live up to their words.. What do I do?' (sic)," the 'Pushpa 2' actress quipped.
Rashmika is currently also doing 'The Girlfriend', to be released in Telugu and Tamil. Its producer SKN joked on Twitter that he is relieved that the gossip surfaced after the film went on the floors. Otherwise, he might have had to contend with Rashmika's astronomical demand, he joked.
Four crores as remuneration would make Rashmika a superstar material of sorts. It is said that only Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty have managed to be paid such a high fee. Even Samantha Ruth Prabhu is not that costly for producers. If Rashmika delivers a solid hit with a heroine-centric movie, she can indeed dream of such a fee.
