'Vidhi', which was released in theatres last year, stars Rohit Nanda and Anandi as a romantic pair. The mystery drama, written and directed by Srikanth Ranganathan and Srinath Ranganathan, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The film revolves around Surya, a worker living in a congested room. An old pen, which holds fantastical powers, plays a key part in his life. Surya, who is otherwise a timid and manipulated person, feels empowered when he discovers that he is holding a supernatural pen in his hand. The concept of the story, written by Sindhura Srikanth, comes with interesting themes such as destiny and the self-assertion of the weak over exploiters. Srikanth Ranganathan's dialogues are true to life.
Sri Charan Pakala's background music enhances the mood of the film, the makers say. "Rohit looks vulnerable in step with his character. He leads the show by looking the part and without speaking much. The climax will leave the audience intrigued," the makers add.
The film is produced by Ranjit S. Cinematographer Srinath Ranganathan has shot it. The editing by Srinath Ranganathan serves the plot well. Adarsh Sekar, Vysakh Venugopal and Suresh have done the art direction.
