"Utsavam', touted to be a drama film, is written and directed by Arjun Sai. Starring Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, it is produced by Suresh Patil of Hornbill Pictures. Its First Look was unveiled today marking Republic Day.
There is a reason why actor Dilip Prakash, the film's protagonist, is seen holding a Nataraja idol in one hand and a crown in another hand. The story is set in the backdrop of the world of stage plays. Krishna is the male lead's name in the film. Regina plays Rama, his love interest.
A teaser, named The Rehearsal Of Utsavam, will be out on January 28 at 11:34.
Nassar, 'Nata Kireeti' Rajendra Prasad, legendary comedian Bramhanandam, Ali, Prema, LB Sriram, Anish Kuruvilla, Aamani and Sudha will be seen in different roles. Priyadarshi, who has done semi-lead roles in movies like 'Jathi Ratnalu', is playing a role.
Music director Anup Rubens is believed to have composed melodies and intense songs. The songs have been written by lyricists Vanamali, Bhaskarabhatla, and Anantha Sriram. Since the theatre is the backdrop, a wide range of talented singers have been chosen: Anurag Kulkarni, Hindi singer Kailash Kher, Arman Malik, Vijay Prakash, folk singer Penchal Das and 'Balagam' fame Ram Miriyala are on board.
