Jr NTR's 'Devara' is scheduled to hit the screens on April 5, 2024. A week later, Suriya's 'Kanguva' will hit the screens, on April 11.
On Monday, the makers of 'Kanguva' made an important announcement. They said that the action thriller with a semi-period backdrop will be released across the world in 38 languages. While the statement could be meant to grab headlines and the film might not have a proper release even in five languages, the signalling is clear.
It is evident that the makers of 'Kanguva' are planning an aggressive release in the Indian market in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi for sure. Which means that Tarak's film is going to face an enormous level of competition as a pan-Indian film.
The battle has only become tougher for director Koratala Siva. Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts will have to up the game to make sure that 'Devara' creates headlines in non-Telugu languages. Otherwise, 'Kanguva' might eat into its market share in no time.
