Kiran Abbavaram is pinning all hopes on 'Rules Ranjann'. The film is directed by Rathinam Krishna and is hitting the screens on October 6.
In his latest interview, Kiran has spoken about his recent flops. Four of his five movies in recent months have been disasters. 'Meter', which was released this Summer, was a colossal flop.
Kiran says that, as per his understanding, 'Meter' was beyond his image and range. "There were slow-motion shots, elevations and all in that movie. Perhaps, the audience didn't expect such kind of a movie from me," he suggests, though not exactly in those words.
'Meter' had an outdated storyline. That's why it didn't make the cut even though Mythri Movie Makers backed it. Kiran adds that he was doing too many films at once for him to implement the lessons he had learned from them. This year, he has slowed down considerably and is doing only one film at a time.
In this week's release, 'Rules Ranjann', Kiran will be seen romancing Neha Shetty. He will share screen space with Vennela Kishore, Hyper Aadhi, Subbaraju, Ajay, Nellore Sudharshan and others. Goparaju Ramana plays his father. The film's music is by Amrish.
