Story of 'Guntur Kaaram': Producer gives clarity

Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Kaaram' is slated to hit the screens on January 12, 2024. In his latest interview, producer S Naga Vamsi assured the audience that there is no question of the film getting postponed. By October 20 this year, the entire talkie portions will be completed. By the end of November, four songs will be shot. In December, post-production works will be completed.

The producer also touched upon the rumour that the story of 'Guntur Kaaram' was changed after the first schedule. "Only the drive has been changed. The story has remained unchanged. 'Guntur Kaaram' has always been made as a mass action film. You can expect all the typical Trivikram movie elements," he added.

Haarika & Hassine Creations is bankrolling the film. 'Guntur Kaaram', starring Sree Leela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as heroines, has music by SS Thaman. Manoj Paramahamsa is its cinematographer. The film's first song will be out for Dasara in all probability. It will be a melody. Pooja Hegde opted out of the project due to dates clash with a Bollywood project, the producer today said.
