Hindi actor Naseeruddin Shah has spoken out against two of the most popular pan-India films, both of them made by Tollywood directors. In his latest interview, Shah commented that he couldn't complete SS Rajamouli's film, 'RRR'. He also suggested that he didn't like Allu Arjun-Sukumar's 'Pushpa: The Rise' because of his hyper-masculine nature.
"I couldn't watch 'RRR'. I couldn't watch 'Pushpa' either. But I watched 'Ponniyin Selvan' because I like Mani Ratnam as a filmmaker. He is a director with no agenda," Shah said.
Shah made it clear that he dislikes certain films because of their hyper-masculine and hyper-violent nature. In that case, the most dislikeable film for him might be the 'KGF' movies.
While Shah is entitled to his opinions, it is true that a majority of the audience don't give a damn about what some individuals say. In the past, a few other seasoned artists railed against popular hits and superstars like Salman Khan. None of them could negatively affect the market for those films/actors.
