The buzz in the town is that 'Jailer' director Nelson Dhilipkumar has met with Allu Arjun. The development comes at a time when Bunny wants to speed up things. He hasn't had a theatrical release in 2023. He didn't have any release in 2022. And he won't have a release in 2024 till August 15 (when 'Pushpa 2' will hit the screens).
Recently, Bunny was believed to have shown interest in an idea narrated by 'Jawan' director Atlee. Both Atlee and Nelson are from Kollywood.
Already, Bunny is slated to do a film with Trivikram Srinivas, followed by another one with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It is said that the 'Arjun Reddy' director's film might not go on the floors till 2026. So, it is essential for the Icon Star to lock one more film.
It has been the 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' actor's wish to team up with a solid commercial director from Tamil to expand his base in Tamil Nadu. N Lingusamy and AR Murugadoss have previously failed to impress him.
Bunny will be doing only pan-India action movies for the next few years. Which Tamil director is better suited for the genre? Is it Atlee or Nelson? The answer is pretty obvious.
