Telugu girl Goldie Nissy pins hopes on 'Changure Bangaru Raja'

'Changure Bangaru Raja', produced by actor Ravi Teja, is one of this Friday's theatrical releases. Written and directed by Satish Varma, the entertainer features Goldie Nissy as an unscrupulous constable.

Nissy, who grew up in Bengaluru, hails from a Telugu-speaking family. "I moved to Hyderabad many years ago, went on to do short films, and eventually wanted to graduate to cinema. I auditioned for several roles for about two years. 'Changure Bangaru Raja' is my first prominent release," says Nissy, who has previously done forgettable movies such as 'Malli Modalaindi'.

Usually, female leads are clean and incorruptible in our films. For a change, Nissy is playing a corrupt constable. "I am paired up with Karthik Ratnam. It was fun working with him. I also got to work with Satya, the talented comedian," Nissy says.

In recent years, 'Baby' actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya, too, graduated from short films to feature films. Nissy joins the league and pins hope on this Friday's release, whose story is told from the perspective of four different characters. Ravi Babu, Ester Noronha and others are playing different roles.
