Mahesh Babu attended an event on Sunday at a star hotel in Hyderabad. He was asked about the probable release date of 'Guntur Kaaram' at a time when the film's production works have been delayed. The film is behind schedule by months. Earlier this year, it looked like the film will finish its shoot by September. This is August and hardly 20% of the shoot is over.
The 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor, when asked about the release date, assured that the Trivikram directorial will hit the screens for Sankranthi 2024. Later, producer S Naga Vamsi of Haarika & Hassine Creations shared a clip in which Mahesh spoke of the date and wrote, "January 12, 2024."
Despite this, fans are skeptical. Many fans of the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor were seen saying on social media that the release date will inevitably be postponed unless Mahesh is up for a series of grueling schedules in the coming 2-3 months.
'Guntur Kaaram', starring Sree Leela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as heroines, has music by SS Thaman. Manoj Paramahamsa is its cinematographer.
