Actor Vijay Deverakonda and his co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu were present at a musical concert held in Hyderabad ahead of the theatrical release of their film 'Kushi' on September 1. Speaking on the occasion, the 'Arjun Reddy' actor touched upon what kind of health issues the 'Shaakuntalam' actress has been going through.
It has been rumoured that Samantha is not comfortable with excessive lighting during paparazzi-dominated events. Vijay yesterday said that her eyes shed tears when exposed to lighting. "She also gets a headache as a consequence," he added.
The 'Rangasthalam' actress has been suffering from Myositis, an auto-immune disorder for which there is no cure. When she was physically weak last year due to the disorder, the shoot of 'Kushi' had to be stalled when about 40% of the production was pending. The wait was expected to come to an end within a few weeks. But Samantha took months to recuperate and come back on the sets of 'Kushi'.
