Naresh’s ex-wife Ramya gets the Civil Court’s shock

Ramya Raghupathi, the ex-wife of veteran actor Dr. VK Naresh, has filed a lawsuit in the City Civil Court, Bangalore, seeking to stop the release of the film Malli Pelli in theaters and on OTT platforms. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court passed its judgment on August 1, 2023, dismissing the suit filed by Ramya Raghupathi as lacking merit.

The court said that the reasons filed by Ramyaraghupathi against the release of the films were untenable and legally unsustainable. The court confirmed that the content of the film is completely fictional, as given by the Board of Film Certification of India certificate. The court held that a private person cannot block the release of a film after the Censor Board has certified it as fictional.

The movie was released successfully in theaters in Telugu and Kannada. According to this ruling, the producers can freely broadcast the film through all OTT platforms and satellites.

It is known to all that recently a Kannada channel called Power TV illegally conducted a sting operation on Naresh and Pavitra's house.

The court concluded that Naresh and Ramya Raghupathi had not lived together for six years. The verdict given by the court paved the way for the divorce of Naresh and Ramya. According to Supreme Court rules, marriage is annulled if the husband and wife have not been together for two or more years.

A cybercrime case is pending against Ramya in cyber court and cyber cell regarding cyber malware.
