Rajinikanth gave an amazing speech at the audio release event of his upcoming movie called "Jailer." The movie is set to be released on 10th August 2023, and the promotions are creating a lot of excitement among the audience. The makers organized a stylish audio release event in Chennai.
During his speech, Rajinikanth shared how the project came into being. He mentioned that he had heard many stories after his previous film "Annaathe," but they all seemed similar to his past successful movies like "Baasha" or "Annamalai." So, he rejected many scripts and stopped listening to new ones altogether.
He also talked about the movie "Beast" by director Nelson Dilip Kumar, which had received negative reviews. However, Rajinikanth stated that many in his team asked him not to rope in Nelson as the director but he went on to do it.
Rajini further said that casting should be done properly and Beast did not have a proper casting. Ever since he made this speech, fans of Vijay are not at all happy and have been trolling the superstar on social media. It has become Rajini vs Vijay fans now.
Jailer stars Tamannaah as the female lead and features Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Shivrajkumar in important roles. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
