'Leo': Telugu rights fetch Rs 20 Cr, major banner bags rights

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' is in for a jackpot. The Telugu version's release rights for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have reportedly been bagged by Sithara Entertainments.

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi has shelled out Rs 20 Cr for the rights. This is the biggest deal made by a Vijay film in Telugu. This comes despite 'Beast' becoming a flop in April 2022.

Sithara Entertainments is going to ensure a massive release for the action thriller in Telugu. The Dasara release will compete with Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Bhagavanth Kesari' and Ravi Teja's 'Tiger Nageswara Rao' at the box office.

The film was shot for 125 working days over a period of six months. This is Vijay's most promising film in years. Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Priya Anand, and others are doing the film. Recently, the song 'Naa Ready' was released. Anirudh Ravichander is setting the songs to tune.
