Ajmal Ameer of 'Ko' ('Rangam' in Telugu) fame is playing YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Ram Gopal Varma's political drama, 'Vyooham'. His first-look poster suggests that the character, who is relatively new to politics in the 2000s, is affected by the pulls and pressures of the conspiracies and machinations in his political life. "Kutralaki, Alochanalaki madhya," the poster says.
Releasing the poster, RGV quipped that the film's target audience are the TDP, the JSP and the general public.
While Manasa will be seen as Jaganmohan Reddy’s wife YS Bharathi, the film has a few other less-known but talented set of artistes. The cinematography is by Sujeesh Rajendran. Editing is by Manish Thakur.
Coming back to Ajmal, this is not the first time he is essaying the role of the YCP supremo. He was seen as one in 'Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu' as the fictional name VS Jagannnath Reddy.
In a recently-released teaser for the movie, a character modelled after the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu was seen feeling happy about a political crisis following the untimely death of then AP CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy, who was his bete noir.
