Soon after Thursday's paid premieres of 'Baby' in Hyderabad, public talk videos surfaced on YouTube. In a lot of videos, some paid artists and even actual audience members are seen expressing deeply problematic views about women while glorifying the film.
In a viral video clip, a male person is seen saying that his only complaint against the film is that the heroine (Vaishnavi Chaitanya) is not murdered by the hero (Anand Deverakonda). Another male member is seen declaring that the female lead in the film is a prostitute character.
Reacting to the video clip, many Netizens described 'Baby' as a problematic film that has given rise to absolutely "disgusting" and "regressive" reactions. "These shocking reactions are enough to conclude that 'Baby' is not my cup of tea. After Vijay Deverakonda did the toxic 'Arjun Reddy', his brother has outdone his family elder," a Netizen wrote.
Blame has to be taken by YouTube channels as well. Why don't they remove such deeply problematic reactions? Why do they promote verbal violence?
