'Double iSmart' was made official on Monday. The makers didn't reveal the cast and crew details barring the most important names. The audience expected Puri Jagannadh to announce the name of the music director. 'iSmart Shankar' became a blockbuster in 2019 mainly because of Ram Pothineni's energetic performance and Mani Sharma's extraordinary music.
This time, the 'RED' actor is back but the Melody Brahma is believed to be missing. "If Mani Sharma is not composing music, 'Double iSmart' wouldn't look like a promising sequel," a movie buff wrote. Even though Mani's music for films like 'Acharya' was disappointing, he is still favoured by the audience for Puri-Ram's pan-India outing.
On Tuesday, soon after a video clip of Ram undergoing "transformation" for the movie was put out by Puri Connects, cine-goers were seen requesting an update about who is composing music. "Mani Sharma is ideal for 'Double iSmart'," a Netizen wrote.
The film, to be shot from this month, is produced by the Puri-Charmme Kaur duo. It will hit the cinemas on March 8, 2024.
