'Devil - The British Secret Agent' Glimpse Review: Another potential hit from Kalyanram!

The first glimpse of 'Devil - The British Secret Agent' was unveiled today marking Nandamuri Kalyanram's birthday. After playing a character with negative shades in 'Bimbisara', the actor is once again inviting the audience to keep guessing about the motives of his latest on-screen character. This time, he is called Devil. Given that the film is set in the pre-Independence era, where the colonial rulers were considered deserving of violent confrontations, it is anticipated that an essence of moral ambiguity will be present.

The 'Amigos' actor plays a stoic British loyalist with an agenda hidden from plain sight. Producer Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures is bankrolling this period thriller directed by Naveen Medaram.

Soundar S Rajan's visuals look grand. Gandhi Nadikudikar of 'Narappa' fame recreates the bygone era. The story, screenplay and dialogues have been written by Srikanth Vissa of 'Pushpa' fame. Harshavardhan Rameshawar's score and Vijay Rathinam's sound design are going to play a crucial role.

On Tuesday, Abhishek Pictures unveiled the first glimpse of Satyadev Kancharana's 'Garuda: Chapter 1', which is a thriller. For ZEE5, the production house is doing 'Prema Vimanam', to be streamed soon.
