'Liger' hit the screens on August 25, 2022. Soon after the early morning shows in Hyderabad and morning shows in the Hindi belt, it became clear as daylight that the film was going to be a disaster.
In his latest interview, Vijay Deverakonda's brother Anand Deverakonda revealed what the 'Liger' hero did after the Puri Jagannadh directorial was flooded by an avalanche of negative reviews.
"Vijay continued his routine as usual. He went to the gym in the evening. My 'Baby' co-star Viraj Ashwin, who was in the gym at that time, was shocked. He called me and told me that Vijay was very normal. Usually, after such a terrible disappointment, actors don't come out of home for some days or fly to some other country," Anand said.
Recently, after the release of 'Agent' and 'Adipurush', Akhil Akkineni and Prabhas respectively were not in India for some days.
Anand also revealed that he watched 'Liger' just two days before its theatrical release. He conveyed to Vijay that the film didn't work for him.
