Anil Sunkara's career appeared to receive a huge setback when 'Agent' flopped miserably in April. The producer awaits the release of 'Bholaa Shankar' on August 11.
Unexpectedly, Sunkara has received a much-needed respite much before the theatrical release of Chiranjeevi's movie. 'Samajavaragamana', a film he is presenting (Razesh Danda is its producer), is expected to run to packed houses upon its release on June 29.
The family entertainer, starring Sree Vishnu and VK Naresh, was screened for the Hyderabad-based cine media on Tuesday. The reception was amazing, with no trace of negative talk. Anil Sunkara is also buoyed by the positive feedback from the audience of Andhra Pradesh after Monday's multiple screenings. At this rate, the film will open to a solid response despite competition from Nikhil Siddhartha's 'SPY'.
This is not the first time that Sunkara has received a shot in the arm because of a small-scale film. 'Bindaas', 'Raju Gari Gadhi', and 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' worked for him. He is also expected to score a hit with 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona', another important film he is producing this year.
