Nagarjuna is struggling to announce his new film as he is not finding any director who can showcase him in a new manner. Well, some months back, Nagarjuna was impressed with the way writer Prasanna Kumar showcased Ravi Teja's Dhamaka with an entertaining script.
Then, Nag called Prasanna Kumar and asked him to prepare a script for him. The writer took some time off and came up with a solid script that was loved by Nagarjuna. Then, things changed as news came out that Prasanna's next with Nagarjuna is a remake.
This is when Nagarjuna asked Prasanna whether the story he narrated was a remake. The writer cleverly told that it is just influenced by a Malayalam film and that too only by a few scenes and the rest is his own.
But Nagarjuna had a doubt and watched the original Porinju Mariam Jose and found out that the script narrated by Prasanna is the same. Then, things were even sour when producer, Abhishek Agarwal announced that he owns the remake rights to “Porinju Mariam Jose” and that any attempts to adapt it will result in legal action.
This is when Nagarjuna came to know the whole storyline and reprimanded Prasanna Kumar and came down heavily on him and rejected his film right away. The news is that Nagarjuna was furious with the writer and vouched that he would never work with him again.
