In an instance of mischievous propaganda, a photoshopped poster that says that Dalits are not allowed into the theatres playing 'Adipurush' is doing the rounds on social media. In this regard, the makers have called out the mischief.
Calling the poster false and misleading, the producers added that Team 'Adipurush' firmly stands for equality. "We abide by no discrimination based on caste, colour or creed. Help us combat this evil by reporting it wherever you encounter it," the makers stated in a strongly-worded clarification.
In the age of social media, morphed images and AI-enabled tools too have been deployed to create antagonism towards individuals, movies, political parties, etc. The fake Adipurush poster is still shocking.
The film, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, will hit the screens on June 16.
There is this perception that Saif Ali Khan has been given a raw deal during the promotions phase. The Bollywood actor hasn't been highlighted. He plays Ravana in the movie. He is currently shooting for 'Devara' with Jr NTR.
