Akhil's Agent is a colossal flop and we all know that. The film was made on a budget of 80 crores and did not even make 10 crores at the box office which is a shocking number even for Akhil's standards.
The makers have today revealed that the film's OTT release will happen on the 26th of June on Sony Liv. The release was supposed to happen on the 19th of May but that did not happen and disappointed the fans of Akhil.
We have come to know that director Surender Reddy was asked to re-edit the film and make it suitable for the OTT audience. That means a number of over-the-top scenes were chopped and a few deleted scenes have been added.
Anil Sunkara is the man behind all this as news has come out that he made a pact with Sony Liv and promised them a better version than the theatrical release. That is the reason, he has asked Surender Reddy to re-edit the film and make it a better watching experience for the OTT audience.
