Allu Aravind set to invest more than Rs 1,500 Cr!

Recently, Hombale Films of 'Kantara' and 'KGF' fame said that it would be investing Rs 3,000 Cr in the next five years in making multiple feature films in multiple languages. Geetha Arts, owned by Allu Aravind, may also be doing something huge on a similar scale.

Today, the word emerged that Geetha Arts is planning to invest Rs 300 Cr on a movie starring Suriya in the lead. The pan-India movie will be helmed by Chandoo Mondeti of 'Kartikeya 2' fame.

Last year, in an interview, Allu Aravind said that a Ramayana-based movie that he will be co-producing will be India's most expensive movie ever! The film was supposed to go on the floors in Summer this year. There has been a delay on that front, though. The Ramayana film will be produced in association with others. One doesn't know how much share Geetha Arts has got in it, but a rough estimation can be made.

Besides the above two biggies, Allu Arjun's father is also going to make films with director Boyapati Srinu, and one each with Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Nandamuri Balakrishna.

If you make back-on-the-envelope calculations, you would know that Geetha Arts is investing more than Rs 1,500 Cr in the next few years.
