On Monday, marking Vijay Deverakonda's birthday, a poster of his 12th film was released. We see the 'Arjun Reddy' actor's portrait depicted as shredded papers in it.
Co-incidentally or otherwise, the poster bears an uncanny resemblance to a poster of 'Argo', the 2012 American historical drama thriller film. When Netizens pointed out the same, producer S Naga Vamsi said that there is no inspiration, much less copy.
The supremo at Sithara Entertainments commented that it is just a coincidence that director Gowtam Tinnanuri wanted the hero’s face in the form of a shredded paper. "The idea turned out to be a bit similar to 'Argo'," the producer of films like 'SIR' and 'DJ Tillu' wrote.
The film, starring Sree Leela as the heroine, will commence its shoot in June. Its music is by Anirudh Ravichander.
