Every Friday, there are multiple releases that come out one after the other. This week too was no special as films like Ugram and Ramabanam came out with decent buzz at the box office.
Ugram had Allari Naresh as the hero and Ramabanam had Gopichand as the main lead. Ugram was having a better buzz as it was directed by Naandhi fame Vijay Kanakamedala. The film started on a passable note but the occupancy has fallen down.
The film made only 1.5 crores on day one worldwide, but the Saturday numbers are not that great. In some areas, the film is seeing very dull collections across the state of AP.
Sriwass has directed the film and there is nothing new that he showcased. Things were sure that the film would get panned by the critics and the same happened. The masses gave the film a shot but otherwise, Ramabanam is a big flop at the box office.
In a way, both Ugram and Ramabanam will struggle at the box office in the days to come. Ugram is a tad better but still things are looking bleak. A new film called Kerala Story is doing a lot better.
