Sai Dharam Tej is the happiest guy around. He met with a terrible road accident in 2021, something whose gravity was not known to the public for several weeks. When he rejoined the shoot of 'Virupaksha', he could barely mouth his sentences without a struggle. That's why the commercial success of 'Virupaksha' has been described by his well-wishers as a 'punar janma' (rebirth) at the box-office.
That was last Friday. This Friday (Apri 28), we can expect director Surender Reddy to experience similar bliss. During the making of 'Agent', the 'Race Gurram' director was down with Covid-19. He was admitted to a state-backed hospital in Budapest, Hungary. Things were looking so bad that the 'Sye Raa' director was scared to see dead bodies lying around him. His condition was so bad for three months that he couldn't walk without support. He almost gave up hope, but he bounced back and could complete the ambitious spy thriller.
Surender Reddy will have achieved a rebirth at BO, a la Sai Tej, if 'Agent' becomes a super-hit.
