Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' is going to be released on August 11. After its release date was made official a couple of weeks back, a handful of Tollywood releases such as Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kushi' and a few other releases were confirmed for theatrical release. After 'Waltair Veerayya', Chiru is no 'Acharya'. He is in perfect form.
But expectations from 'Bholaa Shankar' need to be tempered, not in the least because it is a remake. It is going to clash with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', the pan-India movie directed by 'Arjun Reddy' fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga. If everything goes well, Siddhu Jonnalagadda's 'Tillu Square', too might release on August 11, making it harder for Chiru's movie to have a walk in the park.
Sivakarthikeyan's 'Mahaveerudu' is also up for release on the same date. While the film has no capability to challenge Chiru's film, one mustn't discount its potential to become a hit in Telugu and eat (however mildly) into the potential of 'Bholaa Shankar'.
