Virupaksha is Sai Dharam Tej's comeback film which had to click at the box office as he suffered a bike accident and was out of action. The film is a suspense thriller directed by first-timer Karthik Dandu, a prodigy of star director Sukumar. BVSN Prasad and Sukumar have co-produced this film.
Well, the film was released today and there is a unanimous positive report about the film. The director Karthik made sure that the film has enough thrills and entertains the audience. The openings are decent and as the word of mouth is strong, the occupancy is growing with each passing day.
Now the OTT rights have fetched the makers good money and the news is that they have recovered half of the money from the OTT rights. Netflix has bought the rights and the film will be out in the last week of May. BVSN Prasad is super happy and Sai Tej got emotional that he has made a solid comeback finally.
Samyuktha Menon played the female lead in the film and her role is being talked about a lot in the media. Sai Dharam Tej's performance and the music by Ajaneesh Loknath are riveting. The film is a dark take on a village which gets haunted by an evil spirit.
