Natural star Nani's mass entertainer "Dasara" was released on March 30 and proved to be a hit beyond his expectations. With a new director, Srikanth, who had previously worked with Sukumar, the film showcased Nani's talent as an actor and Srikanth's skills as a director. The theatrical run of the movie is almost over and it has already turned a profit in the second week.
The digital release date for "Dussehra" has now been locked for April 27 and it will be streaming on Netflix. It is expected to get a good response on the OTT platform, where movies that have done well in theaters often get record watch hours. Keerthy Suresh and Kannada actor Dheekshith Shetty also gave impressive performances in the movie and Santhosh Narayanan's music was a plus.
As "Dasara" releases on OTT one day before Akhil's "Agent," it remains to be seen whether it will have any effect on the latter's performance. However, there is a good chance that "Dasara" will reach a wider audience on OTT and receive a positive response.
