A big hero doing a dual role was a treat to the audience during the 70s and 80s and legends like N T Rama Rao and others did full justice to it. Later on, that trend was not there for long but now it seems to have picked up in a big way. Cut to the present, the next set of Tollywood projects have the biggest heroes doing dual roles and the list is long.
For starters, mega powerstar Ram Charan is all set to be seen in a dual role in the movie 'Game Changer' being helmed by the showman of the south, Shankar. There is a flashback episode and a present episode where Cherry would be seen. Similarly, young tiger Junior NTR would also be doing a dual role, that of a father and son in NTR 30 being helmed by sensible director Koratala Siva.
Young rebel star Prabhas is also not far behind as he would be seen donning the dual role cap in the magnum opus 'Salaar'. When it comes to Kollywood, the actors are taking a few steps more. For instance, Suriya is all set to be seen in six roles in his next while universal star Kamal Haasan would be doing a dual role in 'Indian 2'. Get set for this double treat folks!
