The two titles 'Salaar' and 'Adi Purush' have one common thing, young rebel star Prabhas. Yes, he is the hero in both and while Salaar started way back, it is yet to be completed while Adi Purush is already gearing up for release. However, director Prashant Neel seems to be having a larger responsibility with 'Salaar'.
Well, 'Salaar' was due to hit the screens in February itself but the shoot was delayed for various reasons. Meanwhile, Prabhas's other movie 'Adi Purush' started some pre release stuff and it was met with major flak. Now, it is gearing up for hitting the screens on June 16th.
As such, the talk is that 'Adi Purush' is not going to shine as expected at box office and it is going to be a challenge. Already, the criticism and the vibe of the film is not great. Now, fans of Prabhas feel 'Adi Purush' may not do much but 'Salaar' will give the much needed lift for Prabhas and reiterate his position as a superstar. The saving grace is, both projects are of contrasting genres so Prabhas would be seen in a completely opposite image. Of course, if 'Adi Purush' manages to score some decent numbers it would certainly give a strong impetus for 'Salaar'. Let us see what happens.
