The box office summer is going very well. Movies are coming but at least none of them seem average, so the gap is widening. After the Dussehra blockbuster late last month, no super hit movie has received at least half of that collection. Both Ravi Teja's Ravanasura and Kiran Abbavaram's film met the same fate after releasing on the same day in the first week of April.

Buyers have suffered heavy losses. The recent Shakuntalam situation is too disappointing with public talk and reviews all turning negative with no scope for a miracle.  All eyes are now on Sai Dharam Tej's Virupaksha which will release on April 21st.

Karthik Dandu is making his debut as a director with this village fantasy thriller, with screenplay by Sukumar. Samyukta Menon, who became the lucky girl of Tollywood, is the heroine. After watching the trailer, it is clear that the dose of glamour has been increased.

Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan is releasing on the same day but it has a different target audience. No matter whether it's Venkatesh or Pooja Hegde in the film, the buzz is not as expected as of now. So, Virupaksha remains the first option in the Telugu market. It is very important for Sai Dharam Tej to score a hit after Republic.
