AR Rahman, the renowned music composer, is considered one of the best in India. He has created numerous successful albums in both Tamil and Hindi languages, earning an Oscar in the process. During his illustrious career, Rahman has seldom composed for Telugu cinema, having only worked on films such as Super Police, Nani, Ye Maya Chesave, Komaram Puli, and Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo.

However, recent rumors suggest that he is set to return to Telugu cinema after a seven-year hiatus to embark on a new chapter in his career. According to the latest reports, Rahman is in talks to compose music for Mega Power Star Ram Charan's upcoming film, which will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana. While an official announcement has not been made, discussions between the makers and Rahman are ongoing.

However, Rahman's recent track record has not been entirely satisfactory, with the composer struggling to deliver chart-topping hits like he used to. His recent work in Telugu has also failed to create an impact. Therefore, it remains to be seen how this new collaboration will fare. Ram Charan's untitled project is expected to begin filming later this year or early next year. Whatever it is, the mere presence of Rahman again in Tollywood is great news to cheer for his ardent fans.
