This time, Vikram is gearing up to hit the screens with the movie 'Thangaalan' which is being helmed by PA Ranjith. It is heard that this is going to be a Pan India release.
Now, another update has arrived from Chennai that this is going to be in a 3D format. Well, the truth remains that the infrastructure in tier-2,3 areas still remains weak when it comes to 3D movies. While the attempt is certainly bold, will it really add value to draw audiences to the theatres is a question. Right now, Vikram is in dire need of a hit to bounce back and while the hype and expectations are positive on 'Thangaalan' it remains to be seen if this movie has the kind of visual effects that will elevate the 3D effect.
