The shooting of the movie "Pushpa: The Rise" directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun is progressing rapidly. Allu Arjun surprised his fans with a great teaser on his birthday, raising expectations for the movie. The teaser, along with the first look poster for "Pushpa 2," featuring Kalikadevi's getup look as Gangammathalli Jatara, has garnered a lot of praise.

It is said that Allu Arjun's character is like Ardhanariswar in the poster, and there are rumors of a huge action sequence in the setting of Gangamma's mother's fair before the climax of the film, where Pushparaj will kill the bullies in Kalika's avatar.

The backstory of this character is interesting, as Gangamma was believed to have appeared to protect women from being abducted and raped by the Palegondus in the vicinity of Tirupati. The villagers worshipped her and, as she grew up, the Palegondus watched over her. She then began to slay demons and scare them away. To bring them out of hiding, the men dressed up like Gangamma and performed the Gangamma fair for seven days, making noise and drawing the Palegondus out of the forest. Gangamma then killed them, and rape incidents decreased in the villages.

Director Sukumar has reportedly incorporated this back story into an action sequence in the film, where Pushparaj will be seen fighting evil in Gangamma's avatar. Celebrities are also sharing the poster on Twitter and wishing Allu Arjun success for the movie. With such high expectations from the teaser and the first look poster, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of "Pushpa: The Rise."
