The creators of the soon-to-be-released movie, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan starring Salman Khan, have added another track to the already impressive collection of songs. Unlike most other Bollywood numbers, this new song, titled Bathukamma, is predominantly sung in Telugu and revolves around the vibrant festival celebrated in Telangana and parts of Andhra Pradesh.
The song begins with actresses Pooja Hegde, Bhumika Chawla, and Venkatesh Daggubati decorating their home with colorful flowers and creating the Bathukamma, a sacred flower stack, with the women dancing joyously around it. Later in the song, Salman Khan and the rest of the cast, including Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari, make an entrance.
Salman Khan and his family make an appearance wearing traditional ensembles, with the superstar looking dashing in a mundu, veshti, and kurta. Pooja Hegde seems to be impressed with the actor's new look.
The lively song, composed by Ravi Basrur, features Telugu lyrics by Kinnal Raj and Harini Ivaturi and Hindi lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed and Ravi Basrur. The lead vocals are by Chunchi Nagavva, Santhosh Venky, Aira Udupi, Harini Ivaturi, Suchetha Basrur, and Vijayalaxmi Mettinahole.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, formerly titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and directed by Farhad Samji, is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and boasts a star-studded cast that includes Venkatesh, Shehnaaz Gill, Bhumika Chawla, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, and Palak Tiwari. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on April 21, 2023.
