Popular Tollywood actor Naga Shaurya recently turned into a real-life hero by coming to the rescue of a girl who was slapped by her boyfriend in public. The actor, known for his roles in movies that fight for women's rights, confronted the man in the middle of a busy road in Hyderabad for his abusive behavior towards his girlfriend.
A video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing Naga Shaurya repeatedly telling the man to apologize to his girlfriend for slapping her. The actor, who was passing by in his car, noticed the incident and immediately stopped to intervene.
As the man tried to justify his actions by saying that the girl was his lover, Naga Shaurya firmly rebuked him, saying that it was not an excuse for misbehavior. He then demanded that the man apologize to the girl for his actions. Passers-by also joined in and supported the actor, urging the man to apologize to his girlfriend.
The incident was captured on video and shared on Twitter by a netizen, garnering widespread praise for the actor's bravery. Naga Shaurya's upcoming movie "Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi", directed by Srinivas Avasarala and featuring Malvika Nair as the leading lady, is set to release in theaters on March 17.
