Nandamuri Kalyan Ram made his debut in Tollywood with the 2003 film Tholi Chupulone. Later he worked with many directors and his first major success was in 2005 with Athanokkade. After that he has been scoring continuous flops all the time.
It again took him ten years to get success in the form of Pataas in 2015. And again, it took him seven years to get success in the form of Bimbisara in 2022. Now Amigos became a disaster again. One major flaw is his encouragement of new directors all the time.
This worked out only on a few occasions for him but not all the time. Hence, many feel that it is high time for him to work with popular filmmakers and get good success because his success to failure ratio is totally skewed. He only gets a hit once in many years and there has to be a change in his approach for sure.
