Soulful Heartbreak: ‘Cheekato Vaipuna’ Lyrical Track from Rakesh Varre’s ‘Maya Lady’ Strikes an Emotional Chord
Talented actor and producer Rakesh Varre, who has carved a distinct niche for backing meaningful, concept-oriented cinema under his Crazy Ants Productions banner—delivering notable films like Evvarikee Cheppoddhu and Pekamedalu—is back with his latest offering, ‘Maya Lady’. Headlining the lead role while producing the film, Rakesh pairs opposite versatile actress Madhumita Sarcar in this intriguing romantic drama directed by Prasankar.
Kick-starting the film's musical journey on a poignant note, the makers unveiled the evocative lyrical song ‘Cheekato Vaipuna’ today.
An Ode to Solitude and Broken Promises
Steering away from standard romantic duets, ‘Cheekato Vaipuna’ dives headfirst into the haunting quietude of separation and emotional vulnerability:
-
Composition: Renowned music director Vishal Chandrashekhar (Sita Ramam fame) crafts an atmospheric soundscape laced with gentle strings and lingering acoustic undertones that subtly mirror the protagonist's aching loneliness.
-
Lyrics: Ace lyricist Krishna Kanth (KK) pens reflective, deeply personal lines that capture inner conflict, lingering memory, and the slow unraveling of hope.
-
Vocals: The vocal pairing of Yazin Nizar and Sindhuri Vishal infuses the composition with palpable yearning, balancing vulnerability and emotional restraint.
