Written, directed, and produced by Venkatesh Goud Lingampally under V.G. Movie Makers with Deepak Nyathi overseeing production, the historic epic is set for a wide theatrical release across the Telugu states on August 21, 2026, through Dr. Prathani Ramakrishna Goud’s RK Films.

The event witnessed a massive gathering of film fraternity members, cultural icons, and prominent political leaders who paid glowing tributes to Papanna’s enduring legacy.

"A Legendary Warrior Who Conquered 30 Forts" – Dr. Prathani Ramakrishna Goud

Veteran filmmaker and distributor Dr. Prathani Ramakrishna Goud, who previously helmed a feature film on Sarvai Papanna in 2003, expressed his pride in releasing this animation venture:

*"Sardar Sarvai Papanna was a fearless warrior who united backward and marginalized communities to fight against oppressive tax regimes and feudal dominance, conquering 30 forts and revolting against Golconda itself.

When I made a film on him 25 years ago, public awareness about his history was limited. Today, his statues and legacy inspire every village. I commend Venkatesh Goud for putting his heart and soul into this animated chronicle, and RK Films is proud to bring it to theatres on August 21."*
