"Perhaps God Wanted Me to Rest": Rashmika Mandanna Opens Up About Her Frustrating Hip Injury

Pan-India star Rashmika Mandanna has officially broken her silence after news broke regarding a severe injury she sustained on a film set. Taking to Instagram, the hardworking actress shared a candid, emotional message addressing her health condition, the exact nature of the injury, and the frustration of having her busy schedule abruptly paused.

Following medical evaluation, doctors diagnosed her with a torn hip tendon—sustained while shooting a high-energy dance sequence for her upcoming film Mysaa—and prescribed six weeks of mandatory bed rest.

"This is the Third Time": Rashmika Shares Her Frustration

In an honest note to her fans and well-wishers, Rashmika admitted she initially wanted to keep the health setback private:

"Getting injured is extremely frustrating for me. I really didn't want anyone to know about this, but it eventually came out. This is actually the third time I've suffered an injury of this nature. There are four tendons on each side connecting the hip to the leg, and one of the tendons in my right hip has been torn. For me to lift my leg normally again, it has to heal completely.

The accident happened while filming a dance routine for Mysaa. Out of all the projects I’m currently doing, Mysaa has been the most physically demanding. In a way, I feel perhaps God wanted me to finally slow down and take some rest, which is why this happened."
